On August 2, 1997 an eleven million watt radio broadcast was launched across the Pacific Ocean to China. A Voice of the Martyrs program - The Radio Voice of China's Christians - was now on the air!
VOM contacts inside China are taping anonymous Christian testimonies of fishermen, school teachers, housewives, fruit-vendors - mostly from China's growing house churches. These tapes are then carried out of China at great risk.
For fifty years, Chinese Christians have not had a radio program of their own. Now they do! House Church Christians constitute 90 percent of China's Christian community and are regarded as outlaws and troublemakers because they do not register with the official Three Self Patriotic Movements (TSPM)
Now, The Radio Voice of China's Christians covers all of China. They risk so much as they shatter the airwaves across China with a message of hope, love and mercy in Christ Jesus.
